What I offer
I help teams expose development risks earlier, with EMC-focused circuit design, layout reviews before fabrication, and pre-compliance work in my own lab. The goal is not just a board that works, but fewer surprises right before certification.
I collaborate with an accredited EMC lab for knowledge exchange, advanced pre-compliance measurements such as fully anechoic chamber testing, and final acceptance testing if required by the client.
If the project needs hands-on support fast, I can also work on site: debugging hardware, supporting EMC lab work, or joining an active development effort as an external specialist.
I also design complete circuits and layouts, from first concept to production-ready design.
EMC Testing & Debugging
- · Find and fix problems before you go to the accredited lab

PCB Layout

- · From simple 2-layer prototypes to complex mixed-signal boards with DDR4, PCIe, USB3, and other high-speed interfaces
- · Layer stack definition, component evaluation, and close coordination with PCB fabricators and assemblers
Circuit Design
- · Analog, mixed-signal, and power electronics
- · Low-noise sensor interfaces, ADC/DAC signal chains, AC/DC and DC/DC converters (linear and SMPS), communication interfaces (RS485, CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
- · Schematic capture in Altium Designer including component research, LTspice simulation, and design documentation
Layout Reviews
- · Independent review of your PCB designs before manufacturing
- · Systematic analysis of grounding, decoupling, layer stack, signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC risks
- · Deliverable is a documented report with concrete improvement recommendations prioritized by risk
Prototyping & Verification
- · I build up prototypes and verify them on the bench with calibrated instruments: oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzer, thermal imager
- · From power rail profiles to full functional testing
Test Automation
- · Python-based automated test setups with SCPI-controlled instruments (Keithley, Fluke, Hioki)
- · Repeatable measurements with automated data logging and analysis
